Default Anyone experience this themselves?

So this article isn't dealing with a single father, but thought it interesting and applicable enough to us. Curious if any of you have encountered anthing like it yourselves and, if so, how did you react or handle it?

Basic summary - a guy was questioned as a possible pedophiliac (is that a word?) for taking pictures of his own child (fully dressed) out in public while on a mall ride.

I think it's getting a bit P.C. over here

Wow. How crazy is that? I think someone (hint hint LesPaulGB) needs to make a public stand about this. This is completely unacceptable. There is simply no way that a civilized country should spell the word as 'paedophile' instead of 'pedophile'. Adding that 'a' is so unnecessary. Just another example, as if we Yanks needed one, of why we fought for independence.

Not entirely sure what I can do Seamus, but I'll have a go. And thanks for pointing out the spelling and grammar errors

And while you are at it, LesPaulGB, try to do something about the UK use of 'ise' instead of 'ize', as in civilize.

I think it's an American thing to criticise ( sp? ) our use of English.

Slightly more on topic, the article says that a man was seen taking photos of children in that area. Nothing was said about this unknown guy being a pervert or not. Nevertheless this could have been handled a lot better.

It has to be hard for companies today. All you need is one idiot with an ego and all hell breaks loose. The only problem I see is some mall cop thinking he is a hard ass.
